The Controllable Pitch Propeller system
The Amartech Controlable Pitch Propeller (CPP) is a complete solution existing of:
CP propeller
Hollow propeller shaft
Reversing mechanism
Electric motor with control system
Separate control system for the main engine, gearbox and CPP unit.
All components are carefully selected to work together as a reliable propulsion unit. Of course you can find in this system the Stern tube, bracket and seals as mentioned in the FPP part. The difference between the FPP and CPP is; where a FPP is made of one piece, the CPP has blades that can rotate so you can adjust the pitch of the propeller. The main advantages of this system is that you can have the full power of the engine at any rpm.
The CPP propeller systems are used in fishing boats, motor yachts, sailing yachts, passenger boats, tugs and other special vessels.The system can be delivered with shaft diameters from Ø 60 to Ø 180 mm.Propellers will be custom designed. All propeller-blades are machined by CNC machines ISO Class I and S. The propeller pitch can be adjusted from sailing (sailing yacht) position to design pitch, neutral and astern.

The control system is specially designed for single and twin screw boats with th amartech CPP solution. To control engine, gearbox and CP propeller at the same time. All parts are highly reliable and designed according to the rules of most common classification societies. The panels are equipped with control unit, pitch indicator and buttons for the different operation modes like: motor mode, sailing mode, harbour mode.
